Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Drs. Cudney and Ingoldsby practice full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise including dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, pathology treatment, bone grafting, facial pain management, and treatment of complex facial fractures.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Our surgical assistants are certified by the America Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) through the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam (DAANCE) program. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Cudney & Ingoldsby Oral Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All surgical assistants complete a continuing education program for dental anesthesia assistants (DAANCE) that is designed and proctored by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. Our office regularly performs mock emergency codes and simulations.
